Don’t Dump Drains to River Calder Clean River Clean Future 2019
If you’re out and about around Mirfield and you come across this stencil sign Don’t Dump Drains to River Calder on the path next to a road gully this is a friendly reminder not to drop litter especially plastic as you all know once plastic enters the road gully it will end up in the river Calder and ultimately the sea/ Ocean.

River Calder Mirfield; This is disgusting the amount of plastic left behind by the flooding on Saturday 16th March 2019 hanging from trees and overgrowth ultimately all the plastic you can see in the photos and much more will end up in the Sea; Ocean at some point.
