The use of consultants will rip and tear the heart out of Mirfield can we really believe what they tell us !!! application to develop Balderstone Hall field

The extra 61 homes would create a number of serious issues for nearby residents including pluvial, surface water flood, of many nearby existing properties and electricity sub-station, traffic jams, danger to schoolchildren and a loss of wildlife, including cramming Mirfield full of unwanted houses,; housing land not horse land.

A pluvial, or surface water flood, is caused when heavy rainfall creates a flood event independent of an overflowing water body. One of the most common misconceptions about flood risk is that one must be located near a body of water to be at risk. Pluvial flooding debunks that myth, as it can happen in any urban area — even higher elevation areas that lie above coastal and river floodplains.

Expected an extra 110 cars that will cause problems on the already single-file sections of Wellhouse Lane and Hepworth Lane.
At peak times, such as the end of the school day, the road becomes blocked by traffic coming from all directions as the road is only wide enough for cars coming in one direction.
The school entrance is also only 70m from where the additional traffic would be exiting the housing estate.

Without boring you too much I sure you have something to say about this application please use this direct like Kirklees planning

Now if you live on Hepworth Lane, Hepworth Drive, Grove Street or shill bank lane then get ready for a lot of unwanted water, please view the second to last page of this link flood routing flood risk assessment

Short but right guys what does the field look like now?

    Regards

    S Benson
